Vladyslav Berkovski

Vladyslav Berkovski – executive director of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation, specialist in public policy in the field of cultural heritage protection, Candidate of Historical Sciences (Ph.D. in History). He graduated from the National University "Ostroh Academy" (high education). He studied in graduate school at the Department of History of 16-18 centuries at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (MCSU) in Lublin, Poland (from 2001 to 2006). In February 2012 graduated from the National Academy for Public Administration of the President of Ukraine (specialty "Management of social development"). Vladyslav Berkovski headed the central state archives, work on the preservation and promotion of archival cultural heritage (from 2010 to 2021). Moreover, he is an author and curator of several dozen photo-documentary exhibitions at the national and international levels. He is the author of about 300 scientific works in the field of archival studies, editorial archeography, local lore and history, economic history of the 16th-17th centuries. In 2015, he was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
