Maria de Fátima Lambert

A PhD in Contemporary Philosophy and Aesthetics, Maria de Fátima Lambert has been a full professor at the School of Education [ESE]-Polytechnic Porto since 2000. Currently, she is the Director of the Heritage Managment Degree and the Director of the Master of Philosophy - Heritage, Arts and Cultural Tourism at the same university. For many years, she has been a Member and Director of the Scientific Board of INED - Research Center of ESE-Polytechnic Porto, a Member of the Scientific Board of the Institute of History of Art [IHA] – Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities - Universidade Nova de Lisboa, and the coordinator of various research projects. She is part of the scientific committee of multiple academic journals in Portugal, Spain and Brazil, and she also regularly participates as Keynote Speaker in scientific/cultural events. Finally, she is a peer reviewer and author of several books and texts in scientific journals, and she is a Supervisor of Master's, Doctoral and Post-Doctoral Degrees. Next to her academic career, she has been an Independent curator since 1994, programming Brazilian and Portuguese artists.
