
Kaari Kiitsak-Prikk
Graduate of Estonian Business Shool PhD programme (department of management) focussing on management and governance of public cultural organisations. Graduate of the Cultural Management MA programme of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. Previous education on Stage management, cultural management, arts projects management, counselling and entrepreneurial mindset training.
Kaari Kiitsak-Prikk has been coordinating and developing the cultural management curricula. She has developed cultural entrepreneurship module for music students and international career and entrepreneurship web-platform for arts students. She has almost 10 years of experience in teaching in higher education institutions and managing international projects for curricula development, life-long learning trainings, publications, events etc. Currently, she is teaching the basics of cultural legislation, career planning”, project management and entrepreneurial skillset. She is a guest lecturer for "Project Management" at Estonian Business School, at Estonian Academy of Arts and University of Tartu. Kaari also provides career counselling and thesis supervision for music students.
Her research focuses on public cultural sector; changing institutional setting; values and practicies of cultural management; cultural policy and governance; societal impact of arts; and societal engagement of higher education institutions. Also, she is interested in the research and practice of entrepreneurial training in higher arts education; career planning, mentorhip programmes and professional coaching.
She is a member of Curricula Advisory Board of CM programme in EAMT and a member of Society of Estonian Career Counsellors. In free time, Kaari is involved in the small family enterprise providing motocross trainings for kids.
