
Julie Goodman
Julie Goodman is an Associate Professor of Arts Administration & Museum Leadership and Department Head of Arts & Enterprise at Drexel University. Her research explores intersections of policy and practice in arts and culture, and examines the value of arts and culture to individuals and communities. She has worked on research and program evaluation projects with cultural organizations including Al-Bustan Seeds of Culture, Brandywine Workshop & Archives, Fleisher Art Memorial, Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, PA Humanities, Philadelphia Collaborative Arts Consortium, Taller Puertorriqueño, and Spiral Q. Goodman is an editorial board member of the American Journal of Arts Management and a former Treasurer of the Association of Arts Administration Educators (AAAE) and the Stockton Rush Bartol Foundation. She was previously Executive Vice President for the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance, and served as Chair of the Mayor’s Cultural Advisory Council for the Philadelphia Office of Arts, Culture, and the Creative Economy and the Philadelphia Cultural Fund.
