Due to the COVID-19 context, ENCATC has decided to invest this year in an enhanced digital event technology and thus to immerse our members and audience in an exciting digital experience. By this choice, we wanted to avoid another zoom meeting and instead ensure that the annual ENCATC Congress still remains the leading global event for our members and followers, the only global platform gathering educators, researchers, cultural professionals, policy makers, and artists able to advance theory, education, research and practice on cultural management and policy.

The ENCATC Digital Congress will also offer you many digital experiences including, among many others:

  • An interactive virtual networking area where you can meet for 2 weeks with peers from all over the world and thus to promote your work, to create new alliances, share information as well as start new joint collaborations for translational research, programmes and projects;
  • an exhibition space to showcase your projects, books and service to a global audience from 50+ countries.

As the measures COVID-19 pandemic made an enormous impact on ENCATC activities, this year the Congress is the only activity able to generate the necessary income we need to match the Creative Europe grants.

In the accomplishment of our Strategic plan 2017-2020 we are also committed to continue defining conditions allowing ENCATC to move towards sustainable organisation also through self-financing activities, and prove to our funders ENCATC’s commitment and ability to generate income.

The ENCATC Congress is designed for educators and researchers from the cultural management and policy educational fields with cross-disciplinary interests to mingle with professionals, policy makers, and artists and thus to bridge the knowledge gap, promote research esteem and the evolution of pedagogy. Each year, Congress attracts attendees from over 30 countries in Europe and beyond making for a diverse gathering of knowledge, experiences and perspectives enriching the experience for all.
