Congress format


The 2020 ENCATC Digital Congress on Cultural Management and Policy is a global gathering designed for academics, trainers and researchers from the cultural management and policy educational fields with cross-disciplinary interests to mingle with professionals, policy makers, and artists and thus to bridge the knowledge gap, promote research esteem and the evolution of pedagogy.

The Congress format is built on these activities:

The Plenary Sessions to learn from leading experts in our field to help us expand our knowledge on the Congress 2020 theme, explore ground-breaking innovations in cultural management and policy, and encourage steps to ensure significant improvements in this industry. It includes keynote speeches, panels, debates, and The Global Conversations.

The Education and Research Session which gathers the international research and education community to unique interdisciplinary environment with the latest world- class research conducted in the field of cultural management and policy and the most innovative practices in teaching and training.

The ENCATC Research Boot Camp offers the next generation of cultural management and cultural policy researchers the space to connect with their peers, present their work, and exchange with experienced researchers in our field.

The ENCATC Research Award Ceremony celebrates best and most relevant recent doctoral thesis on comparative cultural policies or management topics presented by a young researcher.

The Digital Exhibition Space to promote organisations, cultural programmes, projects, and books to transfer new knowledge.
